MADS

Tickets for the Marchington Amateur Dramatic Society upcoming musical production of The Wiz! will be on sale in Marchington Village Shop this weekend (19th October)! The shop will be open from 9am to 12pm on Saturday and Sunday selling tickets, and there will be seating plans for you to choose your seats.

 

Rehearsals are going fabulously well; we have a large cast of extremely talented children, teenagers and adults, who are hard at work learning their lines and perfecting some pretty tricky songs and dances. Behind the scenes, teams are super busy chopping, fixing, sewing and painting, creating us some fabulous costumes, sets and scenery. This production promises so much colour, energy and excitement – we can’t wait to show you!

 

The evening performances will be on Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th, Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November, at 7pm, and there will be a matinee performance at 2pm on Saturday 30th. Doors will open at 6.30pm, so you can get yourself something tasty to drink and settle in ready for the show to start.  

 

Demand for tickets is likely to be very high, so we advise taking advantage of your MADS early-bird discount and heading to the shop on Saturday. You will need to show your MADS membership cards, and shop staff and the MADS committee are unable to reserve tickets for individuals. Tickets will then be on sale to the general public from Sunday onwards. I have attached a poster with all the details; please feel free to share this.
