Beer Festival

Marchington Beer Festival will be held on 20th and 21st September in the Village Hall. As well as beer, wines and spirits will also be on sale.

We are looking for Sponsors for the event, this includes the beers and wines. The more we raise in sponsorship the more goes to the shop. We are looking for individuals, local groups and possibly even groups of residents from a street or road, to sponsor the barrels of beer. These work out at about £110 each. So, a small donation from a few soon adds up. We have now sourced a mobile pizza vendor to keep up energy levels during your visit. There will be music in the old style played on a deck with 45’s. So, if you have any old 45’s, bring them along. The event will be by paid entry, tickets from the Village Shop or on the door and drinks tokens will also be on sale on the days.

There will be a 10% discount on entry for CAMRA card carrying members. This is a beer festival and unfortunately children under the age of 18 will not be allowed entry, so plenty of time to arrange babysitters. So please dig deep and support your village.

There will also be a requirement to staff the event so if you have some free time and want to support a really worthy cause then please let us know. This will be a fun event with us again showing off our village and if successful could become an annual event. So be there from the start and watch it grow.
